End Of An Era.

It's all over...
Yesterday was my last day of school ever. Ever. It's so weird, I can barely believe it. We're going to be in and out for the next few weeks for exams, but we aren't required to stay for lessons. Several people have been saying they're upset- I'm not really, more melancholy. Thinking of all the friends I've made and all the memories we've created. I've had so much fun, learnt so much and grown (not much in height, granted). I'm going to miss everyone, miss our structure, our routines. But I am so exited to start the next adventure, I'm ready to move on and make new friends and memories. For now though, I'll just try and battle through all these exams...

Love, Me xxx
Ps. I know right- two posts within the space of a few days! This is kinda to make up for the fact that I'm probably going to disappear for the next monthish because of the dreaded exams. Sorry about that x

Do you mean you are done with high school?

Nice that you guys got a few weeks earlier then I did. I get out Friday, though it's funny because we don't have school tomorrow because of Senior (12 graders) graduation from High School. And yet we have to go Thursday and then Friday is our last day. Haha. ^^ So when do you guys start school again, or have you basically graduated from school?

Anon: In England our schooling system is different to yours, but I guess in American terms- yes we have graduated from school! :)

Griffinclaw: Yeah we're quite lucky! Except for the exams!! And it's so annoying when something like that happens! I've finished school now, because after September I go to college! (I don't know if that's the same in America!)

Thanks for commenting guys! :)

What a coincidence... I'm going to college soon, too! It will be my freshman year. I know how you feel about leaving old friends behind and then thinking about all the awesome memories you've made together. I'll surely miss them, but I'm also looking forward to a new city and living on my own for the first time. Haha. :D

p.s. Good Luck on the exams! And sorry for the super long comment. :)

Thanks for the super long comment- they're the best! ;) Yeah my college is close enough to get the train in every day and I'm so looking forward to getting to choose which subjects to study! :)

Wow, that's pretty soon it seems! Mind if I ask how old you are then? 'Cause I admit, the English school system kinda confuses me. Though I guess in turn the American System probably confuses you, so I guess that works! Haha! And yeah that's pretty similar to how American colleges and universities work. Right after people here graduate the 12th grade finishing high school they can go right on to college, or university. (Depending on what place they apply for and get accepted into) By that time they're 18 or older when they go to college. (Unless you've skipped a few grades.) That's nice that your college is close to you!
