My Sister Lizzie (A photoshoot.)

If you've been around this blog for a while, you will have heard about this girl called Lizzie
She's not my blood sister, but my sister in Christ and my closest friend, I love her to pieces.
This is Lizzie.
Lizzie is sixteen. Weeell, technically she's four because she's a leap year baby. But don't tell her I told you that, she might just shoot me.

Lizzie is stunning. She's a strong Christian and actually helped lead me to Christ.
Without God working through her and others, I'm not sure where my family and I would be today.
Lizzie is a buttface. We have a lot of inside jokes she's been my friend for decades.

It's funny how friendships develop and grow, me and Lizzie used to be like chalk and cheese
but now, we're practically inseparable. We've become like sisters, all in the space of a year.

She's always there. Always ready to listen and chat.
Always ready with advice from the heart and the bible.

She's a bit of a worrier- like me and a favourite bible verse of ours is:
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of it's own.

She pulls the funniest faces at me when no-one else is looking and everyone thinks I'm a mad woman when I laugh for seemingly no reason whilst she looks on 'innocently'

I'm always around her house and she's the first to know anything that's happening to me and my family.
We pretty much half-live around each other's houses.

Lizzie is the strongest person I know. She's been through an awful lot of rubbish, but she's come out of it an incredible, inspiring person. Her testimony is amazing.

She's so happy and smiley and beautiful.
She has a heart of gold.

She's hilarious. Right this minute I'm looking at a Valentine's Day card she gave me this year reading;
"I love you with all my heart, lungs and internal organs"
She also loves moustache jokes.

She a part of the family, she calls my mum Auntie Lisa and helped to name one of our pets.
Even though she doesn't like cats all that much.

She's going to go far in life, she sets her ambitions high and accepts nothing but the best from herself.

She's incredibly talented. She's a bassist, guitarist and an amazing singer all in one.
No to mention how smart she is. I'm like the Pinky to her Brain.

She's my best model alongside my sister.
She's also got an eye for photography, she can pick out the best poses and spots for photos. Like the one above.

She's a sucker for period dramas and vintage things. I think we should've lived in Austen's time.
She's also a huge Whovian, next companion methinks.

She loves coffee and gets very hyper on it, leading to conversations like this;
"We don't like tea"
"Yes, we do like tea."
"We liked tea last Tuesday"
"No we liked coffee last Tuesday, today we like tea."

She's been away for the last week and I can't tell you how much I've missed her. It's driven me insane wanting to talk to her or pop round in my pyjamas for a chat and a biscuit.

Sometimes you need to open your eyes and see who has always been there for you, through thick and thin, through argument and celebration. Sometimes you find a sister in someone you never would have believed you'd be close to. Try it, you may be surprised.
