It is 8:30pm on a Monday night and I am curled up in bed under a blanket and atop a mountain of pillows, sipping a glass of water between room-shakingly loud coughs.

Yup, I am officially dying of freshers flu.

I don't even know what I have at the moment, it started out as a cold and now it's just constant coughing. It's endless cycles of vitamins, cough mixtures and inhalers. And now I can add a short course of steroids onto that list after my visit to the doctor's today. Woo.

Uni is great and wonderful and I promise I will update you all on the exciting things that I've been getting up to. Buuuut for now I'm going to read Twelth Night, drink some tea and have a little pity party.

Because when the going gets tough, the tough complain a lot and have a coughing fit.

Song for the moment: I Will Keep You Safe by Sleeping At Last (Because it's soothing and softly uplifting)

Love, Kimmy.

Ps. Ugh.
PPS. uuuugggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ah Kimmy, Freshers Flu is a killer! I'm the only one in the house not to have it yet but it probably won't be long, waah! Hope you feel better soon, glad to see you're enjoying uni too xx
